Body Mobilization Techniques are ideal for runners, athletes, and physically active people. However it is beneficial to anyone who desires an increase of joint range-of-motion and athletic performance. This approach utilizes passive stretching movements, range-of-motion exercises, and traction techniques in order to promote a balanced, energized, and structurally efficient support system.

Bowen is neuromuscular re-patterning. It works primarily throughout the nervous system on both structural and energetic levels. Bowen uses a system of subtle and precise mobilizations moves over muscle, tendons, nerves and fascia.  ‘Less is more’ is key with Bowen treatments.

Craniosacral Therapy utilizes the pulse of the cerebral spinal fluid to find restrictions within the body. Once we have determined the area of need we support the body and allow it to initiate its healing process. This treatment is done with the client fully clothed and face up on the massage table.  It is extremely relaxing and beneficial for the body.

Deep Tissue Massage uses the elbow, knuckles, and forearms to reach deeply into the muscle tissue. Deliberate slow strokes of deep pressure on relaxed muscles are used to achieve relaxation of muscle, tendons, and fascia.

Oncology Massage

Swedish Massage employs flat handed long sweeping strokes. The pressure applied can be light to firm. The benefits of Swedish are many: improves circulation, increases range of motion, relieves muscle tension, improves respiration, stimulates the body’s natural defense system, helps reduce stress, reduces spasms and cramping, releases endorphins- the body’s natural painkiller, and helps alleviate depression.

Table Thai Massage can simply be explained as assisted yoga. It is a combination of stretching, body compressions, and acupressure techniques. It is traditionally performed on the floor with the client fully clothed. There are, however, several techniques that can be used on a table and incorporated into a Swedish Massage. This is a great modality for those wanting to play a more active role in their session.
